Friendly Folks was started way back in back in 1994. We saw a guy at a mall doing something similar except his cartoons were pretty ugly and he was writing the names by hand with calligraphy. I remember thinking “wow…this guy is really busy…” And then a light bulb went off as I realized that we could create something like this but just make it better. And that’s how the idea of Friendly Folks got started.
Since then a lot has happened. We’ve added new products, spent years in malls and craft shows, created lots of new cartoons, created our revolutionary Print On Demand delivery system and opened up Friendly Folks to dealers around the world. And what’s wonderful is that Friendly Folks still makes people smile just like it did when we started.
We have some exciting new product lines in the works and are looking to expand in many directions. Plus, we have a few tricks up our sleeve that we’ll reveal in the next few months. So stay tuned to this website and make sure you’re receiving our monthly newsletters to get the “scoop.”

For over 12 years Janice has been the driving force behind Friendly Folks. She has developed close relationships with our customers and it is this commitment and dedication to creating value and treating people with respect that has helped Friendly Folks achieve the level of success it has.
Besides running the company, Janice also has a successful business, Janice’s Custom Cuties, which sells all the Friendly Folks products. So if you talk to Janice about becoming a dealer, feel free to pick her brain with any questions you might have.

Monika comes to Friendly Folks with a long history in the fields of office management and retail sales. Blessed with the gift of gab, Monika is the perfect person to talk to if you need any advice on anything. No matter whether it’s business, personal, car shopping, fashion, great recipies, you name it! Monika can help you with it. Customer service is her specialty and she always makes sure that EVERY one of our customer’s needs are taken care of.

We met Brian while ordering an item online with another company. We were so impressed with his level of service and follow through that we made him an offer he couldn’t refuse to come and work for us. Luckily, he took us up on it and we’re a much better company as a result. When you place an order and it ends up in Brian’s hands, you can rest assured that it will be taken care of and delivered ON TIME or beforehand.

Mr. Monty
Mr. Monty is personally responsible for insuring that Friendly Folks ships only the highest quality merchandise and that customer service is held to a higher standard than usual. Well, at least that’s his job description. Most days, Mr. Monty is very lazy and spends his time sleeping, kneading on people’s laps and leading an endless search for salmon and catnip. However, despite his lackluster performance, we’ve decided to keep Mr. Monty on the payroll because he’s very sensitive to criticism. If you’ve never met him before, please be aware that he like to “head butt” new people. However, his head is very furry and no injuries have been reported.
